The following rules are intended to provide a safe, team oriented, atmosphere for you and those around you so that everyone’s experience is a safe and enjoyable one. Failure in doing so, will lead to your dismissal from The HIVE. Thank you – Let’s play some ball!
- ALL visitors must complete a one-time registration waiver, membership and agreement policy prior to using cages.
- First time batting cage users must undergo a brief equipment orientation with one of our team members.
- We are a team oriented facility, NO poor sportsmanship or inappropriate language permitted at all times. Any visitors and/or members 13 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
- Adults are responsible for the actions of their batters in the batting cages and facility.
- NO opened toe shoes or cleats/spikes permitted. Sneakers or turf shoes only.
- Only one person is permitted in the cages at a time.
- Spectators and those not batting or operating pitching machines must stand outside of the netted area. When pitching or operating the pitching machine you must stand behind the safety net.
- Cage door(s) must be closed at all times while a batter is hitting.
- Batters must wear batting helmets at all times while in the batting cage.
- The only people swinging a bat are those inside the cage.
- No swinging bats outside of the cage.
- Please do not stand in front of the pitching machine or on home plate.
- Please keep hands away from, and do not climb on, safety fencing and netting around the cages.
- No food or beverages are permitted in the hitting area or cages.
- No gum, sunflower seeds or chewing tobacco inside the facility.
- No one under the influence of drugs or alcohol is permitted inside The HIVE Facility.
